Ideally when it comes to websites, some of the business process in your organization should also be reflected in your website so that you have a virtual worker or assistant working for you 24/7 performing functions you would otherwise do in person i.e. providing information, receiving applications, supplying electronic tickets e.t.c. all of which are contained within pages.
Pages are more visual. They populate the site and hold content which includes but not limited to images and text. However, a website without features is basically just another webpage or web brochure to browse through made up of images and text.
Features add on to the life of a website by performing a function which is normally triggered by an action made by a visitor. Although features may be contained within a page, they go a step further to promote interactivity with a visitor and bring you closer to prospective clients or enhance user experience.
